A cabinet meeting was held on Monday at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The cabinet approved an increase in the monthly financial assistance provided under the Chief Minister's Ladli Behna Yojana from Rs. 1,250 to Rs. 1,500.

The scheme was launched in March 2023 with a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,000. A monthly financial assistance of ₹1,250 has been provided since September 2023. An increase of ₹250 has been approved for the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana, providing a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500 from November 2025.
